Reiki Training in Cypress & Houston, Texas

Usui Holy Fire® Reiki I and II training for those who feel called to explore Reiki for personal healing, professional practice, or both.

Reiki is best understood through experience, but a clear foundation helps you feel confident in what you are sensing and how you are working with the energy. Throughout this two-day intensive, you will develop your skills step by step, beginning with self-Reiki and expanding into complete sessions for others, distant healing, Japanese Reiki Techniques, and the traditional Reiki II symbols.

By the completion of Reiki Level II, you will have the training and certification needed to begin offering Reiki sessions in person or remotely.

An Experiential Approach to Reiki Certification

This training is a combination of teaching, discussion, guided experience, and hands-on practice.

You will have opportunities to give and receive Reiki, practice self-treatment, work with the Reiki II symbols, explore distant healing, and experience traditional Japanese Reiki Techniques as taught by Usui Sensei.

The intention is to help you develop a real relationship with Reiki and leave feeling prepared to continue practicing in your everyday life.

Class sizes are limited to six students so everyone has room to learn, ask questions, practice, and receive support throughout the experience.

My dream is for Reiki to one day be a mainstream tool that everyone has in their toolbox to not only cultivate greater individual health and happiness, but to also create a more peaceful world.

– Kenyoku, a dry bathing technique used to clear the energy field

The trainings will typically take place over two days, each Sunday from 12:30–6:30 PM, and upon completion, you’ll receive both Holy Fire® Reiki Level I and Level II certification.

What does the Reiki Level I and Level II class cover?

The class covers what Reiki is and how its energy works, its origin and history, and the Reiki Ideals. You learn self-Reiki, the standard hand positions, and how to give a complete treatment to another person. The class also covers using Reiki to support specific conditions and the healing of unwanted habits, clearing, grounding, and protecting your energy, the traditional Usui Reiki II symbols and distant healing, and the foundations of a professional practice. Students also learn and practice Japanese Reiki techniques, including Gassho meditation, Reiji-ho, Byosen Scanning, Gyoshi-ho, and Kenyoku.

How long is the Reiki I and II class?

The class is a two-day intensive of 12 hours that combines teaching, discussion, guided experience, and hands-on practice.

Where is the Reiki class held?

Classes are held in Cypress, Texas, inside Nourish Holistic Beauty and Wellness, and they serve students from across the Houston area.

Do I need experience to take a Reiki class?

No previous Reiki experience is required. Anyone can learn Reiki, and it does not require belief, only openness.

How many students are in the class?

Will I receive certification?

Yes. Students receive certification in Holy Fire® Reiki Level I and Level II upon completing the class.

Can I offer Reiki sessions after the class?

Is Reiki training only for people who want to practice professionally?

No. Students come to explore Reiki for personal healing, to build a professional practice, or both.
